Requirements

• Connected server with stable RCON
• Event and alert channels configured
• Premium active for premium-only modules

Setup

1. Configure event tracking with /events.
2. Add Discord feed.
3. If premium is active, configure /auto events, /random items, and /nuke.
4. Run a controlled test window before public event announcements.

Example Use Case

Admin sets event feeds, validates /events server: US Main, then enables premium auto-event presets after owner sign-off.

Common Issues

Problem

Raid alerts do not appear in Discord.

Likely Cause

Raid alert channel is not configured or broadcaster code is not linked to the right server nickname.

Fix

Set the channel with /set raid-channel and regenerate user code using /raid link.

Prevention

Document server nickname conventions and audit raid channel configuration weekly.

Tips / Best Practices

• Keep one event operator active per shift to avoid duplicate changes.
• Use staging tests after wipe before enabling full automation.
• Log every automation policy change in #helios-audit.
