About Helios RCE

Helios is a Discord bot and web dashboard for Rust Console Edition server owners on PlayStation and Xbox. This page explains who maintains it, how our documentation is written and kept current, where our published numbers come from, and how to tell us when something here is wrong.

Last updated .

What Helios is

Helios connects to a Rust Console Edition server over WebRCON and gives owners a single place to run it — from Discord, from a web dashboard, or both. It covers killfeeds and activity feeds, raid and admin alerts, teleports and zones, offline raid protection, autokits and binds, economy, shops, battle pass progression, clans, leaderboards, support tickets, and scheduled automation.

It is free to start. Some advanced systems require premium; the current split is on the premium page.

Helios targets Rust Console Edition only. It does not support Rust on PC.

Who maintains it

Helios is built and maintained by the Helios RCE team. Development, documentation, and support all run through the same Helios Discord, which is the fastest way to reach a person who can actually change something.

Helios is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Facepunch Studios, G-Portal, Nitrado, or any server host.

How our documentation is maintained

The Helios documentation is the primary reference for the bot, and we treat its accuracy as part of the product rather than as marketing.

  • Every page shows a date. Each documentation page displays when its content last changed, taken automatically from version control rather than typed by hand, so it cannot silently drift out of date.
  • Reviewed pages say so. Where a page has been explicitly re-verified against the shipping bot, it shows “Last reviewed” instead of “Last updated”. That is a stronger claim and we only make it where it is true.
  • Pages name what they apply to. Where relevant, a page states the release it was confirmed against, the host or platform it was tested on, and the command or dashboard module it documents.
  • Commands are documented as they behave. Where a feature has a limitation, prerequisite, or premium requirement, the page says so rather than omitting it.

How we handle comparisons

We publish one comparison against another product: Helios vs Mr. Bandit, G-Portal’s first-party bot, sourced from G-Portal’s own public documentation and dated accordingly.

We do not publish rankings or scores of other Rust Console bots. We cannot test competing products often enough to keep such claims accurate, and a vendor grading its own competitors is not useful evidence for the reader. Instead, our buying guide gives a checklist you can apply to any bot, including ours.

Where our numbers come from

Every statistic we publish carries the date it was accurate on. Statistics without a date go stale invisibly, so we do not publish them.

  • Server count is the number of Discord servers with Helios installed, and is independently visible on our Top.gg listing. If our site and that listing disagree, the listing is the more current figure and our site is overdue an update.
  • Tracked kills, players, and player hours are cumulative totals recorded across all connected servers.

These figures are aggregate platform totals. They are not per-server figures and should not be read as a claim about any individual server’s activity.

Corrections

If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or misleading, tell us in the Helios Discord and we will correct it or remove the claim.

This applies to documentation, feature descriptions, comparisons, and published statistics alike. If we cannot substantiate a claim, we would rather delete it than leave it up.

Privacy and terms

What data Helios collects and how it is handled is set out in our privacy policy. The terms covering use of the bot and premium features are in our terms of service.
