/set command overview

Overview of Helios /set commands for configuring roles, channels, currency, rewards, and server defaults.

The /set commands let server owners and admins configure important Helios defaults.

Use these commands to set your currency name, bank behavior, link roles, premium roles, notification channels, thumbnails, reward channels, inventory limits, and more.

Setup 🛠️

Use /set commands when you want to configure one specific Helios setting.

Best practice:

  1. Run one /set command at a time
  2. Confirm the value you entered is correct
  3. Test the feature if it affects players
  4. Move on to the next setting

Recommended Setup Order 📌

If you are setting up Helios for the first time, a good order is:

  1. /set link-role
  2. /set currency
  3. /set raid-channel
  4. /set online-channel
  5. /set reward-channel
  6. /set thumbnail
  7. /set inventory-limit
  8. /set premium-role
  9. /set 2xp
  10. /set bank

This helps you set up player linking, feeds, rewards, and economy basics before adjusting extra systems.

Requirements 🔐

Before using /set commands, make sure:

  • Helios is connected to at least one server in this Discord
  • You have permission to run admin commands
  • You selected the correct server when using commands with a server: option
  • The needed Discord channels and roles already exist

Notes 📝

  • Most admin commands require Manage Server permission
  • Panel-based commands are user-scoped, so each admin should open their own panel
  • Apply one setting at a time so it is easier to catch mistakes
  • Double-check role and channel selections before saving
  • If a setting affects players, run one controlled test after changing it
